Can anyone get a TABC certification?
The only requirement to enroll in the TABC Certification Course is to have a valid Social Security Number or Worker ID Number.
Is there an age restriction for enrolling in the TABC Certification course?
There is no age restriction on becoming TABC Certified. In most cases, you must be at least 18 years old in order to serve alcohol, but you do not need to be 18 to get your TABC Certification.
Is my TABC Certification active as soon as I complete the course?
Yes, your TABC Certification is active as soon as you complete the TABC Certification course and pass the final TABC Certification exam.
I already have a TABC Certification and it will expire soon. Can I get re-certified?
The only way to obtain a TABC Certification is to complete the TABC Certification course. There is no TABC re-certification course.
The discount code I have for the TABC Certification course does not work.
How can I get a new discount code?
When taking the TABC Certification course on the TABCCertification.com web site the present discount code to use is TABC in all capital letters.
If you lost your official TABC certificate or your previous employer kept your official TABC certificate... How do you get a replacement TABC certificate?

I don't have a credit card. Can I pay for TABC Certification with a debit card or with a check?
You can use your debit card to pay for your TABC Certification if it has a logo on it for a major credit card company such as MasterCard or Visa. We also have a check payment option online. If neither option works for you, you might be able to find a family member with a credit card and ask if you can pay them cash and use their credit card number to pay for your TABC Certification.

Why do I have to provide my social security number?
The TABC requires your SSN and uses it to track TABC Certifications.
I enrolled in the TABC Certification course last week and now I am getting a "time limit exceeded" error message. What should I do?
There is a six-hour time limit on the TABC Certification course, which means that you must complete the TABC Certification course in six hours or less once you begin. After six hours you will see an error message. You do not have to re-enroll in the TABC Certification course but you must begin the course again from the beginning for you six-hour time limit to begin again.
How do I know if my computer will work with this TABC Certification course?
Most all PC computers will work with our TABC Certification course. You can check our System Requirements if you think your computer is not compatible with our TABC Certification course.
I don't have a printer. How can I get a printed copy of my TABC Certificate?
You can print your TABC Certificate on any printer from any computer with an internet connection even if you did not take the TABC Certification course on that computer. When will I get my TABC Certificate?
After successfully completing the TABC Certification course you can print an e-certificate to show that you have successfully completed the TABC Certification course. You will receive your official TABC Certificate by standard mail in 2-5 business days.
