About the Gris Gris Pendants Shown at left and below:
Gris-Gris is sometimes referred to as the iron fist of
Voodoo due to its hammer-like quality of relentless
pounding until the spell takes effect. Once a Gris-Gris
spell is cast, the momentum slowly builds until it becomes
an unstoppable force.”

Russian Blues Necklace

These Russian Blue faceted beads date from
the late 1800’s to early 1900’s, were Czech made and traded in Africa. In Mali, they are known as Mali Blues. The beads vary in color somewhat but all are a vibrant blue. I paired them with sterling silver barrel beads from Indonesia and finished them with a sterling silver locking clasp.
