What is Shao-Lin

Shao-Lin Kung-Fu is the original form of Martial Arts dating back over 1500 years. It was developed by the Shaolin Monks from the Honan Temple in Northern China for health, mental and physical conditioning, and self-defense. Their self defense skills were considered so impressive that these practitioners were called "Warrior Monks".

The primary aim of Shaolin training is longevity of life, while enhancing its quality through mental and physical fitness. The ancient Shaolin traditions are a comprehensive training regimen for mind, body and spirit. As well as maintaining a healthy life, we also teach how to preserve life from acts of violence, should the need arise, in the Shaolin Art of Self-Defense.
